Friday 4th December 7pm on YouTube

This December would have been our 17th ‘Singalong at Christmas with Equinox’, but due to COVID we will not be able to perform. We are so blessed to be able to say that over those years the ‘Singalong’ has raised over £25,000 which is a phenomenal amount.

So Equinox didn’t want Christmas to go by without doing something. Today’s technology has allowed us to record 4 songs with video.

Two of those songs, ‘Do You Hear What I Hear’ and ‘Angels Carol’ have been sent to Halton Haven and will be used as part of their “Light up A Life” service…..

The Light Up A Life event is a place where people can remember lives shared, the privilege of knowing people and the wonderful memories held dear. However, this year because of COVID-19 restrictions the physical service can’t take place.

Knowing how important this service is the Hospice has brought together an online version. With music from Equinox, Victoria Music Ltd and Colin Gordon-Farleigh and a selection of readings, poems and prayers the recorded service will be released through their YouTube channel at 7pm on Friday, December 4th. Following that at 8pm there will be a live streaming of the dedication and lighting of the 20ft Christmas tree in the Hospice grounds.

For more information

Together with the other two songs, ‘Christmas Halleluya’ and ‘That First Nowell’ all 4 songs are available to share with ‘Churches Together’ in Frodsham, Helsby and surrounding areas or anyone else who would like to use them during their advent services or concerts. They will also be available via YouTube from early December.

Equinox would like to thank everyone who have supported them over the years and hope to be back next year.
