Hello! And a very big welcome.

It’s so lovely to be back after the very worrying and extremely trying times that the last few months have brought to us all and of course the continuing concern.

My heart goes out to any of you that have lost a loved one during this period, either through Coronavirus or other means. Such a difficult time for you.

What has been lovely to see is how much families, neighbours, community groups and friends have pulled together to help one another during this difficult time with shopping, errands, sing-a-longs in the street or a kind gesture. The community spirit has been wonderful.

And of course a great big thank you to our wonderful NHS, care workers and other key workers who have continued to help us all.

Our local shops and businesses that have managed to remain open also deserve a round of applause - you have been amazing.

As other local businesses are beginning to open, I urge you all to support them in any way that you can, they really need our help.

I would also like to mention the wonderful people who have contributed their time and effort with fund raising and donations. Amongst those are Dawn who owns the Elizabeth Arnold Sewing Studio at Lady Heyes see page 19. And even our younger residents have contributed in a massive way, take a look at page 69 to read all about Evie and Grace’s efforts - well done to everyone.
